美國泳將墨菲(Ryan Murphy)8日在里約奧運男子100公尺仰泳中以51.97秒奪金，不但寫下奧運新紀錄，也拿下了美國在這個項目賽事的連續第六金。
21歲的墨菲來自美國佛羅里達州傑克森維爾市(Jackso屏東縣萬巒鄉情趣振動棒nville)，他在8歲時就夢想能在奧運拿下金牌，如今他美夢成真。
墨菲的30歲隊友普拉瑪(David Plummer)則拿下銅牌。他們倆人都是首度參加奧運。
至於來自中國大陸的游泳好手徐嘉余，則飲恨奪銀。
